Mi avevi consigliato di usare un programmino per controllare la batteria. Il risultato era che tutti i field della colonna di destra erano blank (vedi file allegato).
Come va interpretato? Batteria andata? Il sistema non "vede" la batteria? Altro?
Non so dove portarla a testare, quindi mi sarebbe utile sapere come interpretare il risultato ottenuto.

Non ti ho risposto poiché fabrizio.r ti aveva già ampiamente suggerito cosa dovevi fare...
Il motivo per cui l`utility non ti vede la batteria non so spiegarmelo, probabilmente la batteria è defunta e quindi va sostituita;
però, come ultima spiaggia, puoi sempre acquistare per pochi euro un tester* per verificare in modo approfondito se la batteria è davvero scarica.
Basta che appoggi il polo caldo (+) e il polo freddo (-) su i contatti della batteria e vedi cosa segna lo smitter (voltaggio/amperaggio...)

fatto quello che mi hai detto, il primo programma mi ha chiesto di riavviare, il secondo no.
Il problema è in peggioramento, oggi da quando ho inserito la pass utente a quando avevo il desktop sono passati quasi 5 minuti (!); un po' meno, circa 3 minuti e 1/2, al riavvio dopo l'uso del primo programma.
EDIT: ps: tra le altre cose, ogni tanto le icone del desktop vengono riordinate senza motivo apparente, anche questo non so spiegarmelo

1. Sì, Fabrizio mi aveva risposto esaurientemente, ma non sapeva come interpretare il fatto che l'utility non vedesse la batteria. Magari lo sapevi tu.
Ora vedo se qualcuno mi può prestare un tester, che peraltro una volta sapevo anche usare... comprarlo per usarlo una sola volta in vita mia mi pare non necessario.
2. Per quanto riguarda il checkdisk, faccio START->Esegui...eventvwr.msc /s->OK, si apre il visualizzatore, e poi? Dove trovo il log del checkdisk, sempre che valga la pena esaminarlo?

Vedo al centro in alto una lista di cose (errori, informazioni, avvisi) e sotto una descrizione della voce selezionata sopra, ma di log nemmeno l'ombra...

Se non lo visualizzi, allora utilizza il TROVA... nel pannello di destra (sotto AZIONI).

-Quando si apre la finestrina per immettere la ricerca, dentro di essa digita chkdsk e poi su trova successivo.

PS.Se il controllo lo hai fatto con il parametro /f con il riavvio del SO, devi osservare l`Origine che è Wininit;
mentre se il controllo lo hai fatto in sola lettura l`Origine la leggi titolata appunto come chkdsk.
